Our Weekend Stay Service is an exclusive, in-home care package designed to give you complete peace of mind while you're away. Whether you're heading off for a relaxing break, attending a wedding, or celebrating a special occasion, your dog can stay comfortable in their own home with someone they already know and trust. Available Friday evening through to Sunday, this service is exclusively for Walking With Jerry members, ensuring your dog receives familiar, reliable care. Your Weekend Stay includes: • Routine walks to keep your dog active and happy • Routine feeding to maintain their normal schedule • Enrichment and focused attention to keep them mentally stimulated and well cared for • Light house care, so you return to a tidy home without having to worry about small tasks after your trip This service is designed to give both you and your dog the best possible experience - allowing you to fully enjoy your weekend away while your dog receives familiar, attentive care at home. 📩 Please contact us directly to book this service, as availability is limited and tailored to individual needs.
Cancellation Policy
Weekend Stay Service – Terms & Conditions These Terms & Conditions apply to the Weekend Stay Service provided by Walking With Jerry. By booking this service, the client agrees to the following terms. 1. Service Overview Weekend Stays provide in-home care from Friday evening to Sunday so your dog can remain in their familiar environment. The service includes routine walks, feeding according to owner instructions, enrichment, companionship, and light house care (such as bringing in post or keeping areas tidy). 2. Eligibility This service is exclusively available to Walking With Jerry members whose dogs are already familiar with the walker. Dogs must be safe to handle and up to date with vaccinations, flea treatment, and worming. Walking With Jerry reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings if a dog’s behaviour presents a safety concern. 3. Booking & Availability Weekend Stay bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed once dates are agreed and the client accepts these Terms & Conditions. 4. Payment Full payment must be made no later than 7 days before the start of the booking. Walking With Jerry reserves the right to cancel the booking if payment has not been received by this time. 5. Cancellations Due to the service reserving an entire weekend, cancellations made less than 7 days before the booking are non-refundable. 6. Client Responsibilities Clients must provide clear care instructions, emergency contact details, veterinary contact details, and any medication instructions. Clients must disclose any behavioural or medical issues. 7. Veterinary Care If a dog becomes ill or injured, Walking With Jerry will attempt to contact the owner. If this is not possible, veterinary care may be sought if necessary. Any veterinary costs remain the owner’s responsibility. 8. Home Access Clients must provide safe access to their home. Reasonable care will be taken when occupying the property. 9. Liability & Household Damage Walking With Jerry holds appropriate pet care insurance. However, the owner remains responsible for any damage caused by their dog to household property during the stay. 10.
